I was doing some late-night surfing of the interwebs, and I noticed another poorly written “fitness” article. While it’s little more than a glorified plug for Jackie Warner’s new book, there are a few exercise tips listed in it that just make me cringe. Check this out for an example of what sort of advice you should probably be avoiding. If you look closely, you MIGHT even be able to find a dissertation-length comment from yours truly that dissects the problems (in my opinion) with this article 🙂
While the article may have had the best of intentions, it’s painfully vague and misleading guidance like this that keeps fitness from being seen by many as a legitimate profession. This misinformation is the sort of thing I want to prevent.
